Quercetin 3-D-galactoside, commonly known as hyperoside, is a 3-O-galactoside of quercetin that can be found in a wide range of plants. It has powerful antioxidant action through its ability to scavenge free radicals. Quercetin 3-D-galactoside downregulates the advanced glycation end-product (AGE) receptor in AGE-stimulated ECV304 cells and stimulates osteogenic differentiation of human osteosarcoma cells.
