Low Melting Agarose, Genetic Quality Tested.
Gelling Point: 26℃-30℃ (1.5% gel)
Melting Point: ≤65℃ (1.5% gel)
Gel Strength: ≥200g/cm2 (1.0% gel)
Modified to produce lower gelling and melting points and gives convenient recovery and purification of DNA from low melting agarose gels. Radiolabeled DNA probes can be prepared directly in remelted agarose using DNA gel slices cut from low-melting agarose gels.
Cloning of restriction fragments into plasmids can be conveniently carried out directly in remelted agarose using DNA gel slices cut from low-melting agarose gels.
Gels exhibit low background fluorescence using ethidium bromide staining.
Electrophoresis of DNA fragments ≥ 1000bp. In-gel enzymatic digestion, ligation, PCR. Preparative Electrophoresis. Analysis and recovery of larger DNA-fragments for further application.
